York regional police have identified the man who was shot dead outside a Vaughan cafe on Thursday afternoon.
The body of Carmine Verduci, 56, was found in the parking lot of the Regina Sports Cafe, near Highway 7 and Martin Grove Road, shortly after 2 p.m.
Police said Friday they are searching for two suspects and are asking for witnesses to come forward.
The first suspect is white, with a short, slim build. He was wearing a black or grey hoodie and dark baggy pants. The second suspect is also white, but police did not have a description of his clothing.
Police are also looking for a grey or silver Honda Civic or similar car that was seen leaving the parking lot before police arrived.
